Be it Raj serenading Simran in the picturesque scenery of Europe or the iconic train scene, Aditya Chopra's 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' is considered as one of the most favourite romantic flicks of all times. Hence, it comes as a pleasant surprise when we got to know that a remake of DDLJ is in the pipeline.

A Hindustan Times report says that Aditya Chopra is planning to make a remake of this iconic film and will see both Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol team up again. The movie might be tentatively titled asDulhaniya Chali Dilwale Ke Sath.

The report further says that the story will be tweaked to suit the present time and will have SRK-Kajol only in cameo roles.

This movie will see TV actor Farhan Khan (of Chhanchhan fame) as the male lead and actor Mahika Sharma as the lead actress. Other actors include Boman Irani and Paresh Rawal, who will play the role of Anupam Kher and Amrish Puri respectively.

A source has told HT that a song will be shot in the exotic locales of Malaysia. However, the spokesperson of Chopra's production house has denied these reports.

Well how we wish to see DDLJ remade!

Yo Yo Honey Singh started becoming popular amongst the masses when he crooned the Angrezi beat song for Saif Ali Khan in Cocktail. However, the singing star got into the limelight with the Lungi dance number in Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express, which was a tribute to the superstar Rajinikanth in true sense. And despite having worked with SRK's competitors, Yo Yo still seems to be a favourite ofBaadshah Khan. After all, we have seen the two performing together at various events and concerts.

Now it looks like the Chennai Express actor is planning to make a music brigade of his own. Yes, after Honey Singh, the King of Bollywood is trying to get Himesh Reshammiya and Mika Singh in his gang. Wondering what are we talking about? Well, here is a dekho.

Recently, Himesh, who was shooting for a song with Mika for his movie at a studio, was surprised when Shahrukh dropped in. Apparently, the Happy New Year actor was shooting next door and after the pack-up, he went to Himesh's shoot. That's not all. We also hear that SRK left the venue in Mika's high-end SUV.

If you remember Himesh is a very close friend of Shahrukh's arch rival – Salman Khan. So will a Salman Khan loyalist turn into a Shahrukh Khan loyalist very soon? Well, all we can do is just wait and watch!

Abhishek is reportedly overwhelmed by the gesture of his Happy New Year co-star Shahrukh Khan who recently gifted him a bike, which costs approximately Rs 12.5 lakh .
RK also gifted an expensive Mercedes to his wife Gauri Khan on eve of Valentine. Shahrukh surprised his friend and colleague Abhishek Bachchan by delivering a bike at his Juhu Bungalow.

In the past differences between the two families have done the rounds of the media. SRK and Gauri were not invited to the wedding ceremony of Abhishek Bhachchan and Aishwarya Rai in Mumbai. However, later things were later sorted out at director Karan Johar`s birthday party.

Both actors have worked in films like `Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna`. They are now again working in a comedy drama `Happy New Year` directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are in the lead role with Abhishek Bachchan as a supporting actor.

Rohit Shetty talks about his upcoming film projects and new reality TV show

Post Singham, Rohit Shetty is not just one of the highest paid directors today but is also in the news for his big switch — directing Shah Rukh Khan in Chennai Express post a successful stint with Ajay Devgn — next year. Rohit has also signed on for a TV show. In a freewheeling chat, the straight-talking director talks about his new reality TV show and his equation with both stars.

People perceive you directing Shah Rukh Khan in Chennai Express as a big move. I don't consider it a big move but a natural transition, just like my move from the show Comedy Circus to Big Switch on UTV Bindass, which is action-oriented. Chennai Express is a masala film with lots of hardcore action. Funnily enough, I've found lots of similarities between Ajay and Shah Rukh. Both only talk about work passionately. When I am with Ajay, he only talks about what can be done to raise the bar in filmmaking here. With SRK, it's the same. Also, both are workaholics and have the same personal trainer!

Ajay has done five films with you. He's cool with you directing SRK now? Why would Ajay feel bad? He's always been supportive of my work, including Shah Rukh's film. He was happy when he heard I was doing a film with SRK. In fact, I'm planning another hardcore action film with Ajay after Chennai Express is complete. I might bring SRK and Ajay together, or direct a film produced by both Shah Rukh's Red Chillies and Ajay's Ajay Devgn Entertainment. I think about things like how much revenue a film like this will generate for the industry rather than fight with people. Both are talented actors and great producers and care about the people who work for them.

Post Singham, you have upped your fee, and your new film Bol Bachchan has been sold for an unprecedented Rs 94 crore. I wouldn't like to comment on the money aspect, but yes, Singham has brought about many changes for me. It's a big responsibility for me that so many people have faith in me and my product. Also, when top police officers call to compliment me or senior colleagues praise me, I feel I have achieved something.

What made you accept a TV show? I had time in between my films. Also I enjoy doing television, as it creates awareness among people about who you are. It helps in brand building. Today, being on TV is a must-have job profile. It also helps you and your projects, because you understand what people want. I found the concept of Big Switch (starting December 25), very exciting.

What is it about? It's an adventurous, action-based show where rich kids have to perform different roles. They are given jobs as stuntmen and waiters, or even taxi drivers and vada pao sellers. The aim is to make the kids realise the value of money. Only then do they understand how much time, effort and pain their parents have gone through to earn the money that they take only seconds to spend.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan today got nostalgic and teary-eyed while seeing the raw footage of a documentary film made on his IPL team - Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)-and felt that winning does matter a lot.

SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment had bought the IPL team in 2008 in partnership with actor Juhi Chawla and her businessman husband Jay Mehta.

The documentary 'Living with KKR' will air from February 24-27 on Discovery channel.

The film will trace the graph of the team, which initially failed to impress with its performance in the first four seasons. It was only in 2012 that KKR managed to bounce back and became champions of the cash-rich T20 league beating Chennai Super Kings.

"It looks very nice.... I got emotional... It made me cry. I want to thank my team KKR and everyone associated with it. It is not a PR or marketing tool. We had a great learning experience. I am glad we made interesting journey for people ... Youngsters to look at us," Shah Rukh said here.

"I think winning does matter.. It does make a difference, it makes you feel stronger. If you win then a documentary will be made on you. So I would say one must go and win," he said remembering how his team has grown over the years.

SRK says the learning lesson throughout their entire journey was to stick to your goals and dreams, working hard.

The documentary will have the voiceover of SRK. He will talk about the journey, his love for Kolkata, equation with Sourav Ganguly, the first captain of the team, other players, and how the team emerged a winner after a shaky start.

"It is tough to make films than this. I want to make my team more strong and passionate. I did feel sad when we lost nine matches in a row but I never showed my anger or scolded n the players or anyone. As I did feel that the players too were disappointed not winning the match... They did not lose any match purposely," SRK said.

Shah Rukh Khan wants to buy football team SRK wants to participate in the proposed IPL-style football league. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan says he wants to buy a football team, which will take part in the proposed IPL-style football league, promoted by All India Football Federation (AIFF) and IMG-Reliance.

"I am interested in buying stakes in the football league. If the football team happens then it is for Kolkata. We have limited resources but we are working towards it. Football team is 100 percent on cards," Shah Rukh said.

Meanwhile, the 48-year-old actor seemed quite excited about the upcoming season of IPL scheduled in April and May.

Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri and Rani were joined by rapper Honey Singh, 'Tum Hi Ho' singer Arijit Singh and former Indian Idol contestant Meiyang Chang in Malaysia on February 15.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who along with his two lovely leading ladies – Rani Mukherji and Madhuri Dixit wooed Malaysia during the Temptation Reloaded tour – was touched by the love that he received from his fans there.

"Malaysia, you will be missed. The best two days I have had in spite of the injury. The love made it possible. Thank you," tweeted Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri and Rani were joined by rapper Honey Singh, 'Tum Hi Ho' singer Arijit Singh and former Indian Idol contestant Meiyang Chang in Malaysia on February 15.

Shah Rukh Khan, who had injured himself on the sets of upcoming film 'Happy New Year' a few weeks ago, braved the trip and performance in spite of being in slight pain.

"On way to Malaysia for Temptations. Little in pain but between Madhuri rani yo yo arijit and the team we will entertain u well…," he had posted on the eve of Valentine's Day.

While in Malaysia, ShahRukh Khan kept the Twitterati posted about the concert rehearsals and preparations.

"Malaysia. Temptations on!! Little nervous to do rehearsals & dancing. But the art is more important than the artist."

Before the concert, Shah Rukh Khan had also posted a picture of himself attempting some fire-eating along with the caption, "DONT TRY THIS AT HOME or ANYWHERE ELSE.!! Dragons are not a myth!"

SEPANG: Walking on crutches, Bollywood megastar Datuk Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport around 7.30am today, but he seemed to be in a jolly mood.

He was greeted by some of his Malaysian fans and members of the media who had waited at the airport since 6.30am this morning.

Clad in casual attire, SRK appeared to be lethargic from the flight but still waved and blowing kisses, doing his best to accommodate the adoring fans and the media.

Surrounded by a lot of security personnel, SRK also took time to sign some autographs for his fans.

The 48 year-old actor posted on his Twitter account yesterday of his 'pain' that was probably inflicted by the injury sustained when a door fell on him while he was shooting a film, Happy New Year.

SRK is here to perform at a concert, 'Temptation Reloaded Live in Malaysia Featuring Datuk Shah Rukh Khan & Stars, that is set to take place tomorrow night at Stadium Merdeka. In this once-in-a-lifetime concert, he is also supported by other famous Bollywood stars like Madhuri Dixit , Rani Mukherje and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is clearly one devoted father. Despite his busy acting schedule, the doting dad makes sure he spends time with his three children – Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.

Like most fathers, Shah Rukh Khan also seems to share a special relationship with his 13-year-old daughter Suhana. The actor took to social networking site Twitter and posted a picture of Suhana, snapped with her face towards the sun, her hair blowing in the wind.

Shah Rukh Khan’s post suggests that like most parents, the actor too lives for his kids, drawing strength from them to face each day.

Suhana, who has plans of becoming an actress someday, is schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani High School, while her brother Aryan is enrolled at the Seven Oaks School, situated close to Central London.

The couple’s third child, son AbRam was born via surrogacy last year.

Both Suhana and Aryan are very private children and prefer to stay away from the limelight. However, their father can’t stop himself from proudly posting about them and referring to them in tweets and posts.

The actor was recently injured while filming for his upcoming project, ‘Happy New Year’, along with Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah.

Stardom cuts across all borders and ace-charmers always gladden the psyches of admirers.

Shahrukh Khan bagged the honour of having former Mexican President Vicente Fox dropping in on the sets of HAPPY NEW YEAR, even as filming of the Farah Khan-helmed flick was in progress at the famed R.K. Studios in Mumbai.

Fox was accompanied by his spouse, Martha Fox and the current Mexican ambassador to India Jamie Nualart. They discussed everything from Bollywood films,to matters about Mexico and the importance of education.

The meeting was organized by KidZania, in whose Indian franchise SRK owns about 26 percent stake. Fox said, 'We have been visiting many places, but after meeting SRK and talking to him, we feel he is a great person. The set is fabulous and the activity is just amazing. We hope that Mr. Shah Rukh Khan would visit us at Mexico some day.''

Actress Juhi Chawla says there is "no strain" in her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan and that the superstar would be there for her whenever she needs him. There have been reports of the two no longer being good friends. But Juhi insists their friendship is strong, contrary to the reports.

"It (friendship) is not strained or anything. With our growing lives and schedules, we get busy. Like today, Madhuri Dixit and I are working for a film because our work has brought us together. Then she will be busy with Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and I will be busy with my work. How and when we will meet next we don't know," Juhi told PTI.

"If I need something and I call Shah Rukh, I know I will get through him in an instant but I will not trouble him, because I know he is very busy. So I really need not take his time," she said.

Juhi wonders why their friendship is questioned often. "I feel why it should be? I think it should be left to the individuals to decide whether they get along or not, whether there is a connect more than work or not, then you can be friends," she said.

The actress does not feel upset about the reported growing animosity between her and Shah Rukh. "I feel why it should be said (reported this way). There are friendships and there should be friendships among all," she said.

Apparently, the friction between Juhi and Shah Rukh started when her brother Bobby was replaced with Venky Mysore as the CEO of Red Chillies, without informing the actress.

When asked who are her friends from the film industry, Juhi said, "Whosoever I have worked with, whenever I meet them I will be nice to them, be it Aamir Khan or Shah Rukh Khan or Amrita Singh and others. But it is not that I talk to them every day and ask what you are doing and all. That doesn't happen."

Shah Rukh and Juhi were seen as one of the best on screen pairs. According to Juhi, the secret behind their chemistry was the sparkling films that they were offered. She teamed up with the superstar in several movies, including Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Darr, Duplicate, Yes Boss and others. Most of their films have been hit.

On work front, Juhi will be seen next in Gulaab Gang, which is loosely based on Uttar-Pradesh based Sampat Pal's Gulabi Gang.

Director Soumik Sen has managed to bring two powerful actresses - Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla - on screen for the first time.

While Madhuri is the main lead in the film, Juhi will be seen in a negative role.

Of course, the nice thing about SRK is that just when you are in deep despair that he hasn't replied, you may get a surprise message from him in the middle of the night. Since he usually personalises his message — it brings a smile to your face, even if it comes a fortnight after it was meant to. Incidentally SRK's fixation for the digits 555 extends itself to his phone numbers just like it does to his car registration numbers.

SRK answers in the middle of the night

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has posted an adorable picture of his daughter, Suhana Khan on Facebook.

In the image shared by the 48-year-old, Suhana is seen on the football field, in a blue jersey.

"Skinned knees and bruised elbows look beautiful on little girls. My Messy Messi...." he wrote.

Suhana, who studies in Mumbai's Dhirubhai Ambani School, is captain of the school's under-14 girls football team. Under her leadership, the team recently won a tournament too.

"Am quite reticent when it comes to praising kids' achievements but this is highly 'show off worthy'. You go girl!!!" Shah Rukh wrote, along with a screenshot of the news report.

In the interview, Suhana revealed that she was inspired by her elder brother Aryan and father to do well in sports.

"Initially, I played for fun, but slowly I started getting more competitive and taking the sport seriously.It's the competitiveness which helped us become more attached to each other, and that's the reason we are able to play well," she said.

However, she wants to become a successful actor.

"I want to be an actress. Not just a Bollywood actress. My dad says that I should be an international actress and be open to acting anywhere in the world," she added. "I have spoken to him about what I want to be when I grow up. He wants me to study acting and dabble with both Indian and international cinema. After finishing school, I plan to go abroad, possibly America to learn acting and become like dad one day."
